Changes of Lactate Dehydrogenase activity of Rat Skeletal Muscle After Exercise

Abstract
|
|
|
Recent investigation have shown that lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activity was changed by strong muscular exercise in animal and man.
Changes in activity of LDH was studied in rat, Performing maximal exercise of 30 minutes. The muscle samples were obtained at rest and different time intervals in the recovery periods. Activity of dehydrogenase was measured by Cabaud and Wroblewski method.
Control value (meanS.E.) for muscle LDH was 4406343unit. At the termination of exercise 6hr., 12hr. and 24hr. after exercise the LDH activity was 3726524unit, 4375 915unit, 62351045unit and 5643i-897unit respectively.
